Magic Academy: Deck Building

🛠️ Learn to Build a Magic: The Gathering Deck! 🛠️ Ready to move beyond a preconstructed deck and start building your own? Join us at The Wandering Mystic for a beginner-friendly MTG Deck Building Workshop! The event begins at 6:00 PM and will run for approximately 2 hours. We’ll walk players through the fundamentals of building a functional Magic deck, including choosing colors and a strategy, balancing creatures and other spells, understanding your mana curve, selecting the right number of lands, and finding cards that work well together. We’ll also help players get set up with the Magic: The Gathering Companion App so they’re ready to participate in future events and organized play. Limited seats are available, so advance registration is strongly recommended. After the workshop, players are welcome to stay and join the evening’s Commander play. Don’t have a Commander deck? We’ll have loaner/rental decks available for the evening so you can jump in and play!
