Friday Evening [Format Coconut]

Format Coconut is a new way to build decks around one special, spotlighted character card. Here’s a summary, but you can see the beta test rules here and a list of some the first [Coconut] cards we’re exploring with this first beta test here. First, choose a [Coconut] card from this list. Each one has special abilities to use as inspiration for building your deck. Next, choose up to three ink types. [Coconut] cards unlock the possibility of having a third ink type in your deck, but one of them has to be the same as your [Coconut] card’s. Then, build a deck around your [Coconut] card and chosen ink types using at least 60 cards. Your deck can have up to 4 copies of the character card associated with your [Coconut] card. The rest of your cards are limited to 1 copy of each. Gameplay follows the normal multiplayer Disney Lorcana rules except that you play to 25 lore. We expect [Format Coconut] will work best with 3 or 4 players, but if you want to try out games with more, we’d love to hear how they go.
