WE WILL MOVE TOWARDS A WAITLIST IN THE CORRESPONDING GAME’S AGE DIVISION (IF NECESSARY) SHOULD WE REACH OUR STORE PLAYER CAP OF 39 TOTAL PLAYERS ACROSS BOTH LEAGUE CUPS: VG AND GO. Online pre-registration AND a $15 payment for each of the VG and GO Worlds Celebrations is required at check-in for this event. Come to Somerville, NJ for one last VG and GO tournament before the 2026 World Championships in San Francisco, CA!! Please read all of the information in this event description VERY carefully for all details big and small (but all important) pertaining to the VG Worlds Celebration and GO Worlds Celebration. (NOTE: VG Check-in is from 11:00am-12:00pm*, while GO Check-in is from 2:00pm-2:30pm* on Sun. 8/23/2026. Entry fee for EACH tournament is $15, and the format for each tournament is as follows. VG: Pokémon Champions (Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 console family of systems ONLY) Regulation Set M-B + BO3 Swiss. GO: Great League + BO3 Swiss. BOTH EVENTS: Championship Points will NOT be awarded as directed by Play! Pokémon, but there will be other prizes TBD based on attendance in each of the three separate age divisions. Please allow extra time for traffic and especially PARKING as follows!! It is strongly recommended you use and follow the signs for Parking Lot 4 (should spaces be available), which is accessible via South Street that is in between Main Street and the Somerville Train Station. (Stores on Division Street, including the tournament venue, are in between South Street and Main Street, and Parking Lot 4 can be found near the intersection of South Street and Division Street.) Parking in this lot FREE on Sundays along with any other Somerville, NJ nearby parking meter!! To access the tournament venue from Parking Lot 4, follow the signs for the FIREFIGHTERS’ WALK brick path [that reads “Shops & Restaurants, Main Street”) and walk through the narrow alleyway directly behind the parking pay station. Make a left on foot at the end of the alleyway. The venue can be found near the intersection of Main Street and Division Street as mentioned above. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION & OTHER PARKING: Again, Parking Lot 4 is FREE on Sundays!! Retro Lotus Tabletop TCGs is located right by the West Main Street at Division Street bus stop (NJ Transit Stop ID #28359), and the tournament venue is also about a five-minute walk from the Somerville Train Station (NJ Transit). One block away on West High Street, you may be able to find completely FREE street parking, particularly near the First United Methodist Church (48 W High Street, Somerville, NJ, 08876): a five-minute walk away from the venue. FOOD & DRINK: As Trainers, it is important to stay hydrated and have a full stomach to ensure you perform your very best (like no one ever was)! There is food and drink directly available on-site for purchase at the venue. In addition to multiple restaurants along Division Street, Main Street has a lot of restaurants within walking distance. You may bring your own food and drink to the venue, but please clean up after yourself. POKEMON GO POKESTOPS & GYMS: Retro Lotus Tabletop TCGs is a PokéStop!
