Pokemon World Championships Celebration Event Saturday, August 22th, 2026 @11:00AM Please arrive 15 minutes earlier for registration. PLEASE BE ADVISED: Space in our shop is limited, so we ask that players do not bring spectators, as this makes it difficult for clients to get around the store during events. There are many great restaurants and stores for family and friends to go enjoy if they are waiting for the tournament to finish. Here are the details: Join us in store for an official Pokemon World Championships Celebration Event: Event structure: Swiss Rounds (number of rounds based on player count in each age division, minimum 3 rounds). Best of 1 games in each round of swiss (30 min time limit). Top cut rounds (if required) will be Best of 3 (55 min time limit). Standard Format. Decklist Required (see below). Deck List Requirements: All cards in your deck must be official Pokemon TCG cards in English or French. Each Pokemon card in your deck must have Regulation Mark H, I or J. Basic Energy cards can be from any set, excluding Fairy Type Energy. Trainer cards and Special Energy cards must have been printed with Regulation Mark H, I or J but older versions may be used. If you are using an older version of a card and the card text has changed, you must have a current copy of the card available for your opponent to see the most recent, correct wording. All copies of the card will function as if they have the most recent and correct wording on them. Prizing (dependent on attendance): Players will receive 1 Pikachu Promo Card At the end of Swiss rounds, players will receive extra Series 9 Prize Packs based on their final record: X-0-0 3 Prize Pack Series 9 X-0-1 2 Prize Pack Series 9 X-1-0 1 Prize Pack Series 9 Players in single elimination top cut rounds will receive 1 additional Series 9 Prize Pack per win in those rounds. Winner of each division (Junior, Senior and Masters) will receive a Pikachu “WINNER”–stamped promo card and Worlds Celebration–themed accessories (deck box and card sleeves). Grand Prize will be 1 Pitch Black Booster Box 2nd place will be 1 Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box 3rd place will be 1 Pitch Black Booster Bundle 4th place will be 1 Pitch Black Booster Bundle 5th-18th will get 1 Pitch Black Booster Pack Lucky Draw of 1 Pitch Black Booster Bundle 1st-4th place are excluded from the random draw (Will be drawn after Swiss Rounds) (depending on attendance, and availability). Players will be split into age divisions for gameplay (Junior for players born in 2012 or later; Senior for players born in 2008-2011 inclusive; Master for players born in 2007 or earlier). However, if there are not enough people in a division, players will be paired against opponents in other divisions to make sure everyone gets to play.
