This is a great opportunity to test your skills, prepare for upcoming competitive events, and compete against some of the area's best players. Format: Standard Entry: $20 Prize Support: 1st Place receives 75% of all entry fees as Store Credit! Remaining prize support will be based on attendance. This is an unofficial event and is not sanctioned by Play! Pokémon, making it the perfect environment to practice, refine your deck, and enjoy some competitive matches without championship points on the line. Bring your best Standard deck, challenge the local competition, and see if you have what it takes to come out on top! Pokémon Standard Deck Construction Rules Exactly 60 cards in your deck. No more than 4 copies of any card with the same English name, regardless of set. Exception: Basic Energy cards are unlimited. Only Standard-legal cards may be used. As of the current 2026 Standard format, cards with Regulation Marks H, I, and J are legal. Cards with G have rotated out. Cards from older sets are legal only if they have been reprinted with the same name and identical or functionally identical text in a Standard-legal set. Deck List Requirements Player Name Player ID (optional for unofficial events) Pokémon (card name and quantity) Trainer Cards (card name and quantity) Special Energy Basic Energy (type and quantity) The deck list must exactly match the deck they play throughout the tournament. Players may not: Change cards in their deck between rounds (unless your event specifically uses sideboards, which Standard events normally do not). Have a sideboard. Standard Pokémon tournaments are played with a single 60-card deck. Standard-legal 60-card decks only. Deck lists required. Best-of-three, 50-minute rounds. No Championship Points. Judge discretion on penalties for deck list errors or gameplay mistakes.
