The final big event of the season is here! Pokemon World Championship 2026 is taking things to new heights in California, and we're making sure the hype is felt all the way back here at The Upper Hand TCG in Ontario! Join us for an awesome day of competitive Pokemon magic, with tournaments for TCG and VGC to make sure all players are able to show off their celebratory spirit and enjoy a fun day. This specific event listing is for our TCG competitive tournament, here is the breakdown and all the fun details: When: August 23rd, 2026; Registration opens at 11am, Round One starts at 12pm Where: The Upper Hand TCG; South Common Mall, 2150 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W in Mississauga. What: A fully-fledged competitive Bo1 Pokemon TCG Standard tournament to get players ready for the 2027 regionals season, with a B03 Single Elimination Top 8 Cut. Prizing: All officially provided Play! Pokemon Prizing will be distributed to winners and participants, with additional store credit and/or sealed prizing being provided by the store itself in order to create a larger prize pool.
