Lab is an introductory, kid-friendly program created by The Pokémon Company to help new players—especially younger kids and families—learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) in a fun, welcoming, and low-pressure environment. Play Lab welcomes Trainers of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re a brand-new fan jumping into your very first battles or a lifelong Trainer looking to expand your knowledge, there’s plenty of fun to be had! Come join us for our first sanctioned Play Lab Discovery event. This event is focused on teaching the game, so no prior experience is needed. No materials required! All cards and accessories are provided by Pokémon and State of Comics. Each participant will receive a FREE Pokémon TCG Deck and learn how to play Pokémon from the ground up. This event is for ages 6+ and requires the ability to read card text. A Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID is required. Parents can add children under their own account, so no email address is needed. We can assist with account setup at the start of the event. Each participant will also receive an exclusive Play!
