How much does the event cost? $10.00 per player What are the prizes? Prizes are awarded to the top players in each of three age divisions. Players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with a Player ID attached and must have opted into the Play! Pokémon program to earn points and prizes. In addition, each player will receive one (1) pack for entering. Additional packs are awarded to the top players in each of three age divisions. What do I need to know? Bring your Player ID card, if you have one. If you don't have a Player ID, one will be given to you at the event. Team Lists (both Public and Private) are required and must be on a Pokémon Team List sheet. Paper Team lists will be available on site. Please ensure that you have your own Nintendo Switch, copy of Pokemon Champions, and charger. If you decide to use a controller please ensure that it is wired (wireless controllers are prohibited). You may use headphones but these also must be wired and attached to your Nintendo Switch at all times. See the Pokémon Tournament Rules for more information about what to bring to an event. Make sure you arrive on time. If you are late for registration, you may not be able to play in the event! To participate in the event, you must be a player in good standing and abide by the Tournament Rules. What is the tournament structure? The tournament is run using Current Regulation rules and Age-Modified Swiss pairings. See the Pokémon Tournament Rules for information about the format and Swiss. The number of Swiss rounds that will be played will depend on total attendance at the event. This event will be run as single game, 30 minutes per round. If any age division qualifies for a top cut, it will be Single Elimination Bracket, best of 3 games, 60 minutes per round.
