Ready to level up your game? If your young trainer is ready to move from collecting cards to playing the game, this class is for them! We teach the fundamental rules and good habits of the Pokémon TCG, setting them on the path to competitive play and fun! What We Teach: The basic rules of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Fundamental gameplay mechanics. Good habits for playing the game. Kids will practice and play with a standard 60-card Pokémon deck by the end of the session. Who Should Attend? Ages: Children 7–12 years old*. Skills: Your child should be able to read independently and confidently understand the text on Pokémon cards (often multiple sentences), and perform quick math by 10s (essential for tracking damage and health). *Note for Older Players: If you are ages 16+ and are interested in learning, please attend one of our monthly Pokémon Casual League events or email us at [email protected] to set up a private appointment with a Pokémon Professor. Cancellation Policy To maintain an ideal structure for the session, we will not be accepted any trainers more than 10 minutes later than the documented start time. Please notify us of any cancellation as soon as possible by calling 202-544-1059 or by email [email protected]. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled event.
