Greetings Pokemon Fans! It’s that special time of year again when Pokemon Worlds comes along and Pokemon has invited players like you to join in on the excitement! We’re inviting all players to participate from ages 6 and up to join us for a special tournament similar to that of a League Cup. All participating players will be given an exclusive Pikachu Worlds Promo Card and be competing for a special pack of 3 WINNER stamped Pikachu Worlds Promo Cards intended for the winners of each age division, a pack of exclusive worlds sleeves and a deck box. Additionally, each participant will be given a prize pack, plus earn an extra 2 prize packs per round win. Finally, the winner of each age division winner will be given 15$ store credit. We hope to see you there! Tournament Rules: Standard Swiss into top cut format, just like a League Cup. Food and Drinks must be kept off all playing tables. Participants must drop off deck lists to Professor Brian at time of sign up. Deck Lists are required, deck checks will be done at any time during the tournament. Make sure your sleeves are crisp and new, your deck lists legible and organized, we will be taking this as serious as a League Cup. If you need to write a deck list, please see Professor Brian for a deck list sheet and pens. Ordinarily it would be of 3 with 55 minutes per round, but if the total number of players exceeds 10 or more, Swiss rounds will be reduced to 30 minute long, best of one rounds to keep tournament going at a timely pace. The top cut of players will play a best of 3 with 60 minutes per round. (IMPORTANT) Additionally, if an age group would have a single player in it, they will, instead of participating, be refunded and removed from the tournament before it starts and the prizing for that age division be held for a future tournament with at least 2 or more members of that age division. This is to maintain a fair prizing structure as a single player alone in an age group would not have to even try to get any prizing as the grand prize would be given to them by default, whereas members of the other age divisions would have to actually try. If they would still like to participate for the prize packs instead, they can be admitted in and compete as normal for those, but no further prizing will be given to them.
