The path through Mirkwood is dangerous, and surviving it will require a trusted companion. Form a two-player team and face the dangers of The Hobbit Release Weekend together! Each team will receive one The Hobbit Prerelease Kit while supplies last, plus two additional The Hobbit Play Boosters. This provides eight boosters total—equivalent to four boosters per player. Teammates will combine all event product into one shared card pool and build two minimum 40-card decks, with basic lands provided as needed. Teams will then compete through multiple Swiss rounds using the normal Two-Headed Giant rules. Admission is $30 per player, and each teammate must register separately. Players may arrive with a chosen teammate or be paired with another available player, but partner availability cannot be guaranteed.
