Join us in our mid-year celebration series of events for the summer - this time featuring TCG! To make the most of our off-season, we wanted to play a Standard TCG tournament featuring some fun effects that happen during play. We’re calling it Rainbow Roulette! Our local professors have created some abilities and effects based on some of our favorite Pokémon – Smeargle, Goomy, Chansey, and more! We’re excited to implement them throughout our tournament as follows: During each round, at specified intervals of the round, each Professor will spin a wheel with each player’s name on it. If a player is selected, during their next turn, they will flip a coin - if heads, the positive effect of a Professor Pokémon will be applied to their turn. If tails, a negative one will. We’ll reveal more about what effects will come into play during the tournament, but we encourage you to play quickly to avoid the roulette effects! Otherwise, you’ll play your games as expected with Swiss rounds + Top Cut. Prizing will be based on player turnout!
